A two-year project to equip a trench and building collapse rescue trailer culminated Tuesday, December 2, when officials with the City of Anderson Fire Department dedicated the trailer and expressed thanks to all the donors who made it possible.
Fire Chief Jack Abraham, EdD, noted that he is sometimes asked, "What do firemen do when they're not fighting fires?" He said "This is what we do. We put together the projects and obtain the necessary training to ensure that the community is protected."
