Upstate Man Found In River

An Upstate mom found the body of her son in river on Saturday.

Authorities say 25-year old Phillip Donlan Jr. had been missing since Thursday morning. They believe he was involved in a car accident near the Saluda River on Thursday. They found his car at a nearby embankment.

They say Donlan's mother and step-father returned to the scene on Saturday to search for more clues, finding Donlan's body in the river.

Authorities believe he may have wandered into the river after the accident.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
